General Geometry |
General Geometry Notes: |
2 |
Just basic box like geometry, using just the basic shapes mahsed together. Bookcase like things hover off the ground, stairs don't meet up flush with the pedastals they lead to etc. |
Geometry Detail |
Geometry Detail Notes: |
1 |
No detail whatsoever, unless a few books laid out in a pattern like state on the ground can be considered detail. |
|
Textures |
Texture Notes: |
4 |
Strange textures used throughout. The bookcase like things just have random sheet of textures overlaid on them, the walls the same thing. No thought to alignment whatsoever. |
|
Lighting |
Lighting Notes: |
1 |
The water is so bright it is like there is a sun inside the lake. The bases likewise are entirely too bright, although once you've been in the water your retinas have been seared so it no longer matters. |
|
Sound / Music |
Sound and Music Notes: |
1 |
So intrusive and inappropriate as to be completely annoying. The midworld sounds are done better than the bases but all sounds done quite loud. |
|
Angreal Assessment |
Angreal Notes: |
3 |
Too many ta, no thought to balance of the weapons, some ta unreachable without shift in one base, although purely by poor design rather than intent. |
|
Playability - Scripting |
Play Scripting Notes: |
5 |
Portals very buggy and do not work smoothly, other pathing sufficient for the map. |
Playability - Theme |
Play Theme Notes: |
2 |
No real theme, the use of trees in mid and the lake give it a somewhat forest like feel, if it wasn't for the squareness of the walls surrounding the forest, and the cube shape for the lake. |
Playability - Style |
Play Style Notes: |
1 |
Too bright in the water, the only way to other base is to cross the water which slows gameplay to a crawl, poor thought to traps (50 spears are given), strange ta balance and placement. All lead to a non playable map. |
Playability - Fun |
Fun Play Notes: |
1 |
Try it for nostalgia sake, one of the first user made maps around. Not fun to play other than for that sake. |
