- Arena is not kind to beginners. When people venture into multiplayer for the first time they are usually treated to a humiliating butt kicking. Frequent death at the hands of clever and sadisadistic opponents can be very frustrating, especially when you have no clue how to survive long enough to gather a few ter’angreal, let alone fight back. If this is the situation you find yourself in, do not despair.
- This strategy guide will help you become competitive in Arena.
- I have won many Arena matches, but I do not count myself among the elite. If you think that disqualifies me from writing a strategy guide, rest assured. Those tricks that I have little skill for have been done to me often enough for me to relate them to you.
In addition to my personal experience, the guide will also contain tips gleaned from the game forum on Legend’s web site. My thanks go out to all those contributors to the forum who were kind enough to share what they have learned.
- The guide will be divided into two parts.
- The first part will cover each ter’angreal (TA) in turn, providing advice on how and how not to use them. TAs are organized into related groups that are called hands, in WoT parlance. Hands 1, 2, and 6 are offensive in nature and hands 3, 4, and 5 are defensive. Hands 7, 8, and 9 contain miscellaneous TAs that are harder to categorize. Part 2 of the guide will cover survival skills and offensive strategy.
